About the author
Author Mantra Lotus, CEO of the Loose Woman's Sanctuary and Alternative Wellness Instructor, is a St. Louis, Missouri native. She is a retired owner and operator of a holistic childcare center with over 25 years of experience. With a background in journalism, graphic art design, and children's creative writing, Mantra's work reflects her commitment to creating work that celebrates individuality and promotes social awareness.
She is the author of the children's books "Shades of You, 100 Shades of Black", an uplifting color therapy celebrating racial identity and promoting diversity, and “Sarrah’s Ice Cream," a creative expression of a child with Autism. Her poetry book “Brownslip, A Loose Woman's Memoir," has sold hundreds of copies and has been the topic of newspaper articles and feature magazine articles. Currently, she is working on her first novel, a Supernatural Thriller, "Dark Berries From a Southern Tree."
